Hosted by Cathy@746books The 20 Books of Summer is a reading challenge from 3 June to 3 September encouraging you to read up to 20 books from your TBR . Cathy herself admits that the rules are very slack and not to worry if you don’t manage to make it. Anyone is welcome to join in the challenge – just pick your 20 books (or 15, or 10) to read over the summer and write a post about them. Then sign up to the page on 746 Books on 1st June! The challenge will run from 1st June to 3rd September 2019. You can share your lists and your progress on twitter using #20BooksofSummer

Given that I worked out it will take me almost 20 years at three books a week to clear my TBR as long as I don’t add to it, maybe I should do this!

It’s good fun and it doesn’t matter if you don’t stick to the list.

Some great sounding choices. I’ve read The Burning Chambers, Once Upon A River and Shelter, and enjoyed them all. Good luck with the challenge 😁

I never stick to these challenges, I tried the Beat The Backlist challenge last year and failed. I’m picking summer reads this year and one or two maybe from my tbr. I might get to it one day

I’m terrible at challenges too! This one is great fun because you don’t have to keep to the list, so can tick off any 20 books you read this summer!

I used to enjoy Robert Goddard, but haven’t read anything by him recently. Hope you get on with Panic Room, if you manage to read it this summer. Good luck with the challenge!

I am working on my list! I love this challenge!
Surprisingly, I have only read one book from your list – Becoming Bonnie. I think you will really enjoy it!
They won’t make my summer challenge, but I really want to read Becoming Dorothy and The Light Between Us.
Good luck!! x

Great selection of books! I was just looking through all of my books today to try and pick twenty for this summer challenge but at the moment I seem to have about three times that many that I want to read! I think The Burning Chambers and The Wayward Girls might make my list, they both sound so good! I loved Once Upon a River and 55, I hope you love them as much as I did. 🙂

I could’ve added loads more and probably end up swapping some fir others like last year.

I love your choices Nicki. I will also be doing this challenge. It will be the third summer for me. I am thinking that I will select books that are on my TBR, but that I get from the library. In the summer I read a lot outside by the pool and I can’t read on my tablet. I will have to put my list together this week.
