During February I read 8 books and listened to 8 audiobooks making a grand total of 16 books! Wow 6 books over my monthly target of 10 books. I’m not sure how I managed it but I’m really pleased with that amount! 😀

Hallo, Hallo Nicki,
I had a bit of a lean month of reading – two weeks of it were consumed with a bad Winter’s cold and as I moved into blogging my Sunday post I admit I wasn’t even sure if I could see too much was positively taken out of the month until of course I started to write the post and noticed a few insightful things about my February! It might not have gone the way I had planned it to go but it wasn’t a complete wipe out either!
I was especially taken with the Jane Austen Dragons series – where the writer merged Pride and Prejudice into this dragon society and how the humans were not always, er, equipped to handle their responsibilities whilst it was the Historical Fantasy debut for the Night Flyer trilogy which left a stronger impact in some regards as it was taking me to Renaissance Italy where a masked avenger was inspired by da Vinci – this was one of two authors I highlighted for #FFFeb which also had an accompanying vlog interview. The second author gave me such a hearty convo to share with my readers I felt like I had spent time in Floodtide; which reminds me I need to put that request in today at my library!
When I took stock of that combined with my #bookpost which included an #unboxing and some updates about being an influencer for Once Upon A Book Club – I realised February wasn’t this dark vacated space of bookish moments but rather a lovely little month with a lot of little joys which added up to be a bit happier than somber!
Speaking of audioreads, I’m starting in on those today – my ears were so dearly sore with the cold I couldn’t listen to any of them! 😦

I had a bad cold as well but fortunately my ears weren’t affected. Hope you feel better soon and enjoy your audiobooks 😀

That is an awesome month Nicki. I know I have added several of these to my TBR based on your reviews and recommendations. I have already got Hungerford Stairs ready to go, I just have a few other audiobooks I have to listen to first.
