I adore Laura Ingalls Wilder; my kids got into the books, too, through school, and we have a state historical park that puts on LIW camps for kids where they dress up and learn how to churn butter and fetch water from a well and make bread, etc. Then once a year there’s usually a big LIW Days and guests include authors who’ve written books about Laura and more often than not, stars from the 1970’s show come and take part. It’s fun to go back and read books that captured our attention as kids and see if we feel the same about them as adults. Happy reading!

I have never heard of A Swarming of Bees. I just checked it out on Goodreads and it sounds interesting. I hope the audiobook is all you hope it is.

I read it years ago and couldn’t resist a chance to listen to it. It’s from Tantor.

I refused to read Wilder’s books as a kid because the television show annoyed me to no end. They have always been a favorite of my Mom’s and I finally cracked into them and they are so good. My Mom is always right.
I, for one, love how honest you are with your reading next. I always put books up but then don’t stick to them. Hah!
Have a great week! Molly @ http://silverbuttonbooks.com/2020/11/11/www-wednesday-november-11-2020/

Thanks I used to do that too. I got to the point where I wasn’t reading any of them and felt rather embarrassed. Then I found this GIF and as they say the rest is history. 😂

Are you going to review Little House in the Big Woods? I am tempted to read it again. Yesterday I listened to Everything My Mother Taught Me – nice little story!
