Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I just downloaded “I am, I am, I am” whilst still reading your post (ebook + audiobook). I can always rely on you to sniff out some good bargains! 😁 Now, let’s hope it’s a good book!

Excellent! I remember loving bits of it on Book of the Week years ago, but it’s a different reader

Children’s War & Peace reminds me of when I was teaching science and I’d go to the library to check out a children’s book on the science concept so that I could understand it enough to teach it! 😂

I tried to tell myself I wasn’t going to buy anymore books until I’ve read half of what’s on my TBR pile👀 think I secretly knew that wouldn’t happen and I ordered Richard and Judy’s Spring 2021 bundle yesterday🙊

The size would be daunting though… Or have they reduced the 1000+ pages of the original one?

Do you mean the children’s version?

Yes that one.

It’s much, much shorter otherwise I wouldn’t have gone for it! 😂

Haha I was already wondering how someone could convince a kid to read a 1000+ pages story. xD

Really curious about the children’s version of classics! 😮 I wonder how useful such books really are for kids, instead of discovering the real deal later in their lives hahah

Good question although I do remember enjoying a children’s version of A Tale of Two Cities when I was in primary school, and I still have a soft spot for it today!
