Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic โ putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that dayโs post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you donโt have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is a freebie so I’m going with a time-slip theme and here are just some of my choices!

I’m actually reading a time slip book at the moment in a strange coincidence, Life After Life by Kate Atkinson where the main character is essentially reincarnated every time she dies and each life something different changes.

It’s okay, I actually preferred the TV series that the BBC put out this year though! They definitely streamlined a lot of the super repetitive bits.

Not one of my favourite type of reading though maybe I’ve just chosen the wrong kind of book. I didn’t like The Midnight Library or Time Travellers Wife both of which I know have been rated highly by other readers

I haven’t read the time Traveller’s Wife and it took me two attempts to get into the Midnight Library. I loved it on audio read by Carey Mulligan.

I’m not really into time slip, but I loved that Harmon book. I would read pretty much anything she wrote.

What a fun topic! The Midnight Library is on my list. A couple of time slip novels I’ve enjoyed are Before Time Runs Out by Amy Matayo and Kindred by Octavia Butler. The Chronicles of St. Mary’s series by Jodi Taylor is also on my list.
Stop by and see my very first Top Ten Tuesday!
