Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Books Set In a Place I’d Love to Visit and here are just some of my choices!
Which Books Would Be On Your List? 📚📚📚

I suppose that interrailing around Europe would cover most of it. The only hiccup is that those passes are only valid for one month, you have to be younger than 25, and to use the high speed trains you need an additional reservation and pay a supplement. Nowadays your cheaper off and faster with a budget airline like Ryanair. With a rail pass you have to limit yourself to a certain part of Europe if you don’t want to spend all your time looking out of a train window.

I actually did back in the 80s and it was brilliant, which is why I’d love to do it again with my husband and son.

I did it too in my late teens, but limited myself to France, Spain and Italy. At that time the trains were overcrowded during the summer and I really didn’t want to spend a whole month just commuting from one place to another. Had a Canadian friend who did that: took a picture of the Eifel Tower in Paris and went on his way towards the next trophy.

We went all over the place for a month at the end of the summer so it wasn’t too bad. We even went down to Greece, but didn’t do Spain.

I always imagine heaven to be Narnia. How awesome that will be!
Paris made my list today as well, but for a different book.
Happy TTT!
