The three Ws are:
What are currently reading?
What have you finished reading?
What will you read next?
📚📚📚📚📚
What are you currently reading?
I’m still reading the latest from Robert Harris, it’s a slow burner but the writing is good.
What have you finished reading?
The new Miss Marple short stories on audio which I loved, and The Woman in Black, which underwhelmed me!
What might you read next?
You know the drill! Happy Shrug Day!😂

Happy Shrug Day!! The rollercoaster ride of reading eh! Sometimes it’s good, sometimes not so lol xx

I don’t think I’ve read any short stories by Agatha Christie. I’m sure they are wonderful as all her fiction is. Happy reading!

These are are written by contemporary authors, but as though Christie wrote them herself.

I am curious about Act of Oblivion. Enjoy! Here’s MY WWW POST

Thanks it’s about the manhunt for two of the men who signed King Charles I death warrant. It’s mostly set in New England in the 1600s. Good if you enjoy historical fiction based on a true event.

Oh no, The Woman in Black! I’m curious about that one. 😮

Yeah it wasn’t that creepy, just lots of tension and not much drama. You should definitely give it go though Lashaan.

Oh my gosh, I love that shrug gif. lol! I tried reading The Woman in Black and found it boring so it’s been abandoned for now.
Happy WWW Wednesday & Happy Shrug Day! 🙂

Glad it wasn’t just me! Too much tension and not enough drama as far as I was concerned. Glad you like the GIF 😀

Oh no! Sorry you didn’t enjoy The Woman in Black! I loved it when I read it a few years ago. It’d be boring if we all liked the same things though.
And good to know that you enjoyed Marple – I’ve been tempted by that one…

I think because there’s so much hype around it I was expecting to be terrified by The Woman in Black. Never mind! 😀

Glad that you’re enjoying Act of Oblivion. I loved it. I’ve never read The Woman in Black but do love her Serraillier series.

Marple sounds great, I love these type of mysteries, they’re much harder to solve for me than other mystery novels. Happy hump day! 😘

Too bad about The Woman in Black, why did you find it underwhelming? Glad you enjoyed the Miss Marple stories!

I was expecting to be terrified, but it didn’t happen. It just confirms that gothic horror doesn’t work for me.

I need to add the Miss Marple series! I am so terrible at solving mysteries that I am always surprised when we find out who done it.

I’ m relieved to find someone else who was as underwhelmed by Woman in Black as I was. It worked much better as a stage play where the one scene had me almost catapulted out of my seat. The book wasn’t nearly as menacing and I hated the way she kept loading the prose with adjective after adjective
