My Review

I loved this! It was just the right book, at just the right time for me! I’d read a few slow going books that I wasn’t really enjoying and this was a real page turner. It hooked me from the beginning and didn’t let up!

I loved Emma right from the start. She was brave, resourceful, intelligent and understanding. I loved seeing her character develop from just wanting to get Michael Primalov to safely, to then understanding his reluctance to go into hiding when she saw what he did for a living. She definitely became more human as the plot raced along, doubting herself at times. I loved the twists and I loved the ending and can’t wait for the next book!

I love espionage thrillers and this ticked all the boxes for me. It reminded me a little bit of Stella Rimington’s books, but bang up to date with the Russians as the villains!

Highly recommended if you enjoy espionage thrillers!
