The Six in Six is a meme created by Jo at The Book Jotter The idea behind it is that as the end of June (or July) approaches and we are then halfway through the year, let us share the books we have read in those first 6 months. In fact let’s share 6 books in 6 categories, or if time is of the essence then simply share just 6 books. Whatever combination works for you as long as it involves 6 books. Of course the same book can obviously feature in more than one category.
Six Authors New To Me
Six Mysteries, Thrillers or Crime Novels NOT by Agatha Christie
Six Books I Haven’t Reviewed
Six From the Non-Fiction Shelf
Six Books Set in a Country Other Than My Own
Six Books I have enjoyed the most
Which 6 books and categories would you choose?
Nice job completing this meme Nicki! 🙌

I like your categories, Nicki💜 I’m inspired seeing True Crime Story as one of your most favorite. Need to figure out how to bump that up.

Thanks Jo 💜 I hope you manage to bump it up sometime!

I love your categories, they are so creative! Nice to see that Circe made it into ‘most enjoyable.’ 👍

Thanks they’re just from the original list by the blogger who created the meme.

Thank you very much for joining in and spreading the word – always great to see other mystery novels than good old Agatha!

Nice work! My Father’s House was one of mine this year, too–it was great. Maddy Please was also new to me, but a different book. Hugh Bon’s book is a maybe for me. JoJo Moyes USED to be a must-read for me, but I got put off by the plagiarism allegations (and her slap-dash visit to KY for “research”) with her Kentucky book, but I’ll likely give in and listen to her new book–she tells a good story.

Thanks Hugh Bonneville’s book was okay it funny but full of stories about the theatre so wasn’t really that interesting to me.
