Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.

Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

A 71 hour long audiobook – wow! I thought my 36 hours for The Mirror & the Light was long…

That why it took me so long to finish it! 😂

Over the years I’ve read loads over 400 pages. I think the longest was Child of the Phoenix by Barbara Erskine at 950 pages. In the last few years I would suggest the following
1 Mirage by Camilla Lackberg 551. In fact the whole trilogy of Cult and Trapped
2 Cold Truth by Toni Anderson 506
3 Hidden Nature by Nora Roberts 431
4 Concealed in Death by JD Robb 402
5 Atlas by Harry Whitaker and Lucinda Riley 763
6 Essex Dogs by Dan Jones 432
7 Overboard by Sara Paretsky. 432

Tess Gerritsen always makes my reading list, except for today when I focused on historical fiction door-stoppers. I lived her Bone Garden.
Days Like These sounds interesting, thank you.

Nice list, Nicki💜 I’d have all those 500 pages+ Outlander books on mine.

Thanks Jo 💜 The Outlander books are massive, aren’t they?

Wow, a 71-hour-long audiobook. I’d never be able to borrow it from the library and finish it before it was due back. 😂 It would have to be a purchase.

😂 It was my freebie when I signed to audible years ago. I think it’s part of the audibleplus catalogue now.

Is The Perfumer’s Secret a war story? I think I’d like that one.

It’s a dual timeline set just before the WW2 and in the 1990s.

Oo Sherlock Holmes read by Stephen Fry? Did I read that right? I might have to tackle that this winter.

I liked that you included long audiobooks, I haven’t seen anyone do that on the other lists I have checked out.

A great list! I don’t think I’ve listened to any audiobook that was over 20 hours before, let alone as long as the two you’ve mentioned here.

I didn’t realize that Don’t Let Him In was almost 500 pages. I did find 9 that I have read that were 600 pages or more, but I don’t read chunksters often. I just looked at War and Peace and it is 61 hours for the audiobook. I probably won’t listen to it. 😁

I read a children’s version of War and Peace, and it was so confusing with all the different names. I dread to think what the full version is like! 😂

My plan is to try reading a couple of chapters a day. It might take a long time to finish it, so we’ll see how it goes, Nicki.

Ah I like those, in physical form they’re still chonkers but id still read. Those 800-1000ones? Hell nah!

Too big!! 😂

Same. Most of the books I read are under 400 pages. Several of the ones on your list look tempting, though!
Happy TTT!
