What’s made me happy recently?
I came back from a week’s holiday with my husband and adult son, and I had bookmail! I was expecting one book, but I’d forgotten about the other two, so they were a lovely surprise! 😀
I enjoyed visiting visited Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh whilst visiting my in-laws!
I went to a brilliant concert by Canadian indie rock band Metric, who were touring with two other Canadian bands, Stars and Broken Social Scene. They were all friends so they played together at different times in the evening.

You were in Edinburgh and you didn’t come to say hello??!! Only joking, I know when you’re with families you can’t always just scoot off somewhere else. Hope you enjoyed yourself here. Where were you staying and what did you get up to? I’ve had a really busy week so I’m just glad it’s come to an end and I can sit down with a book and a glass of wine tonight!

😂 We were only in Edinburgh for a day, as we stayed in Northumberland and Peebles visiting family.

Peebles in lovely and I really like Northumberland too. It’s one of my favourite areas to go on holiday. Doesn’t take long to get there from here as you’ll know.

Visited Glasgow and Edinburgh a few years ago and LOVED it.
Also, how cool that you got to listen to a few Canadian bands.
